Data Deletion Instructions
AdvanceBot Data Deletion Requests
This page explains how users can request deletion of personal data associated with AdvanceBot, including data processed through our website, dashboard, mobile application, notifications, and Meta-connected services.
1. Remove AdvanceBot from Meta or Facebook
- Log in to your Facebook account.
- Open Settings & privacy, then Settings.
- Go to Apps and Websites.
- Find AdvanceBot in the connected apps list.
- Select the app and choose Remove.
2. Contact your employer or company administrator
Most AdvanceBot accounts are created and managed by an employer, payroll provider, or company administrator. In most cases, the fastest way to deactivate an account or request deletion is through that organisation first.
3. Email a direct deletion request
If you need to contact us directly, email privacy@advancebot.co.za with the subject line Data Deletion Request.
Please include:
- Your full name
- Your phone number
- Your employer or company name
- A short description of the data or account to be deleted
4. Verification and retention
To protect users against unauthorised deletion requests, we may ask for reasonable proof of identity. Some records may need to be retained for audit, legal, regulatory, fraud prevention, payroll, or contractual purposes.
