AdvanceBot Account and Data Deletion Requests

This page explains how users can request deletion of account and personal data associated with AdvanceBot, including data processed through our website, dashboard, Android app, notifications, Google Play listing, and Meta-connected services.

1. Request Android app or Google Play data deletion

If you use the AdvanceBot Android app or installed it from Google Play, you can request deletion of your AdvanceBot app account and associated personal data by sending a direct deletion request using the email instructions below. You do not need to reinstall the app to make this request.

Because many AdvanceBot accounts are created through an employer or company administrator, we may need to verify your identity and company relationship before processing a deletion request.

2. Remove AdvanceBot from Meta or Facebook

  1. Log in to your Facebook account.
  2. Open Settings & privacy, then Settings.
  3. Go to Apps and Websites.
  4. Find AdvanceBot in the connected apps list.
  5. Select the app and choose Remove.

3. Contact your employer or company administrator

Most AdvanceBot accounts are created and managed by an employer, payroll provider, or company administrator. In most cases, the fastest way to deactivate an account or request deletion is through that organisation first.

4. Email a direct deletion request

If you need to contact us directly, email privacy@advancebot.co.za with the subject line Data Deletion Request. For Google Play or Android app requests, you can use the subject line Google Play Data Deletion Request.

To protect users against unauthorised deletion requests, we may ask for reasonable proof of identity. Some records may need to be retained for audit, legal, regulatory, fraud prevention, payroll, or contractual purposes.
